About the Job
We’re looking for real fathers who have served in the armed forces and the sons they’ve raised, mentored, or influenced. Military service often shapes identity, discipline, communication, and family life in lasting ways. We want to explore how that experience carries into fatherhood and into the relationship between generations. We’re especially interested in fathers and sons who are: - Navigating the impact of service on family life - Adjusting to life at home after deployment - Learning how to communicate across different experiences and expectations - Balancing strength, vulnerability, and emotional connection - Passing down values shaped by service - Responsibility, structure, and accountability - Leadership, teamwork, and respect - Understanding sacrifice, duty, and purpose - Sharing skills and lived experiences - Hands-on problem solving, building, repairing, or working side by side - Outdoor skills, physical training, or service-oriented activities - Lessons learned in high-pressure environments - At different points in their relationship - Close and deeply connected - Rebuilding after distance or time apart - Learning how to relate to each other as adults We’re looking for authentic, real-life dynamics, not perfection. Whether your bond was shaped by pride, challenge, absence, reconnection, or shared service, your story matters. This is about legacy, resilience, and the relationship between fathers and sons shaped by military life and what comes after it.
